Product Details

An Art Print as close as possible to the original artwork

Our Art Prints are produced from the original paintings and illustrations of Jean-Baptiste Monge, with particular attention paid to the faithful reproduction of colours, nuances and details.

Our aim is to offer a reproduction that captures as closely as possible the richness, subtlety and atmosphere of the original artwork.

Museum-quality Giclée printing

Our Art Prints are produced using Giclée printing, a high-definition printing process particularly suited to the reproduction of fine art.

They are printed on matte archival-quality Epson paper, using Epson inks specifically designed for Giclée printing. Unlike conventional printing based on the four CMYK colours, our professional printer uses a much wider range of inks, allowing for greater subtlety in the reproduction of colours, nuances and details found in the original artwork.

The combination of archival-quality paper and these inks also provides better colour stability over time than standard printing when the Art Print is kept under appropriate conditions.

Both A4 and A3 formats are printed directly in our Studio.

Handcrafted in small batches

Our Art Prints are not mass-produced. Each sheet of paper is individually fed into the printer, and every Art Print is produced one at a time.

It is a deliberately slow, hands-on process. Margo and Jean-Baptiste, assisted of course by their indispensable team of goblins, personally oversee every stage, from printing and checking the final result to preparing each Art Print before it leaves our Studio.

When this option is selected, the Art Print is also hand-signed by Jean-Baptiste Monge.
